What song lyrics have you been mishearing before having that shameful revelation?

I recently realized the line in "Witchita Lineman" that goes "I hear you singing in the wire" isn't "I hear you singing in the choir." That never made sense to me. I thought it must mean the one he wanted for all time was a churchgoer.
