"Pretty Face"- Joker's Poem

people wear their hearts on their sleeves
while praying for certain emotions to leave
and yet are still so easily deceived;
but not her pretty face

some come, most go; nature of existence
most cherish the fact; most leave and cause resentment
can't help but to judge it as relentless;
don't do it- she's a pretty face

you may work to hurt at misleading frowns
I may be in the back, posing as a clown
out in the open, I'll suggest it loud:
no.. not her pretty face

people wear their feelings, and roll up their sleeves
and carry on like there's nothing to see
she's not a joke - for you or me
so please - not her pretty face
