This from this morning's paper about a Republican senator who just caught "it"!

Gohmert declared he probably got the "Wuhan virus" because he had started wearing a mask — not despite it.

"There are an awful lot of people who think it's the great thing to do all the time, but I can't help but think if I hadn't been wearing a mask so much in the last 10 days or so, I really wonder if I would have gotten it," Gohmert said.

Looking up his history, looks like he's followed a number of conspiracy theories over the years.

Also just this year, he reportedly attempted to drown out a witnesses testimony by incessantly tapping his ring to the desk like a child.

Though, in his defense on that one, he voted against it because he believed the Federal charge of 10 years wasn't enough and that Texas murder charges with the death penalty was better and more effective (which IMO, he's not wrong, if you're only focused on your area, but most states don't have Texas death penalty record)
