One of the most disgusting posts I'veread on here...What do you think of these people?

So earlier today, this guy comes on and brags about his SHED FULL of TP, as though this was some kind of laudable accomplishment when in fact it is not only selfish but cruel and incredibly STUPID.

Millions of people are out there wondering if in the months ahead they will be able to keep a roof over their heads, food on the table and worried to death their kids might get sick not to mention a simple roll of toilet paper.

To me, this is the ultimate slap in the face for those of us that actually give a damn about other people. Don't you hoarders understand there is NO shortage of toilet paper? they just can't keep up with the demand and selfish people who couldn't care less about others.

This is not some kind of game and in the end no one wins. Most will just laugh this post off but I hope some won't sleep tonight realizing the anxiety and frustration they have caused so many others. As for those who would never engage in this selfish behavior THANK YOU! Hope everyone is doing well.

His confirmation name must be "squirrel". You mention "crisis" and people go nuts hoarding. Anyone who was in Chicago during the blizzard of 1967 knows what I mean - milk and bread was off the shelves by noon. I just got my own milk and bread in a month this weekend. No paper towels until the neighbor on the next floor gave me an extra roll of his.
@MaryJanine I love the people who think of others and share. It's a demonstration of how on the other side of the spectrum there are those who rise to the occasion seeking to help the other guy.

@Grateful4you THIS man is a prince. I am partially disabled (use a walker) and he took out my trash, waited downstairs for my delivered groceries and brought them to the fourth floor(mine)and went out yesterday and brought me back the cereal and milk when I mentioned I was unable to get them by delivery. I was told if I need anything to get in touch with him.

Panic buyers are selfish and incredibly stupid. Unfortunately, these stupid people make up over half of the population, which is why it's such a problem.
There's enough food etc to go around, just be considerate of others and buy what you need.
@SW-User Must be terribly frustrating having to smile and check them through, not so sure I could do that. I'm glad most markets have implemented strict limitations on such items and a NO RETURN policy for things like hand sanitizer!

@Grateful4you I've had a warning for questioning amounts customers buy haha. But yeah my company has limited almost every product to 1 per customer now
@SW-User Good for you for speaking out!

I'll take my stockpile of food over his TP any day of the year.

I can wash my hands.

You can't eat paper.
@GwydionFrost Exactly right. I've been preparing for several years now buying a few extra's each month. Nothing fancy but I won't starve either.

Hoarding is nothing to brag about, especially under these conditions.

Maybe he was joking?
@SW-User Considering the context in which it was posted kind of unlikely.
I agree with what you’ve said. And it’s because of the selfish and thoughtless actions of some people that some governments may have to ration shopping.
@LukeTheDuke Stores here in So. Ca. have already started implementing rationing, it's already starting to be evident as TP is more available the past couple of days.
Here in the UK the supermarkets have been rationing, but some people just do repeat visits, or take several family members who split up and get a trolley each and other tricks. That’s why it’s rumoured the government may have to take more stringent measures. If only people would just act more reasonably there would be enough stock for us all. @Grateful4you

A guy was openly inviting people to his custom built bar the other night then complaining some work places were still open!
@PaleandPolluted LMAO...Nothing hypocritical there! 😵

@Ian123 Thanks!

Sounds like a troll. This is just the reaction they desired.
@ViciDraco That's true. Taking advantage of a tragic time.

@Grateful4you I would not even assume the person even had a shed full.
