Will ou take care of your mom and dad when they get old?

Dad is dead. I’ll take care of my mother until I mentally can’t. I love her but we aren’t meant to live together for long periods of time.

I took care of my mom and I was there with her when she took her last breath.

Depends on many circumstances. I will take care of them if they both fall sick and are unable to care for themselves literally. However my grandparents looked after themselves well into their 80s and one of my grandma still lives alone at 86 and the other grandma lived with my parents until suffered a stroke at 94 ended up in a hospital and nursing home and then passed away. Until her stroke she was still cooking and was completely self caring and independent except that she lived with us all through my childhood.

My mother is the only one alive and she didnt take care of me so no. I was there for my grandparents at the end because I love them and I owed them but my mother isnt worthy, my dad wasn't either but he never got old

I cared for my grandaunt until she died and now I am caring already since a few years for my mother.

Possibly. If I'm in a different country, which will be the case, I'll support them financially even though the won't need it and will meet them once or twice a year

I tried but they both passed away. My Mom was in hospice and I wanted so badly to bring her to my house so I could take care of her until the end but she went that night. I feel robbed.

Only if you mean euthanasia, my parents are shitty and didn't take care of me as a child so I don't really feel like I should be expected to help them

I take care of my parents now. Not really financially but ever since my older brother passed I am their everything.

I looked aftery mother for her last year,my dad died a few years earlier at 54 after catching vegetarianism

To the extent I’m physically and emotionally, financially able yes. They might make me feel insignificant somedays but they don’t deserve to be abandoned when they become vulnerable.
