Time alive is finite and ridiculously short. So if something as big as the end of everything is going to happen, it seems logical it would happen in our lifetime.
Not necessarily a bad thing (our selfish belief in our own "importance") because if it doesn't happen, than in our own experience it won't be all that big of a deal, we're gone already anyway.

@SW-User oh no I think many people do genuinely believe I mean we are all gonna die one day, some sooner than others but we dont just lie on the floor and dehydrate to death because we are not immortal lol

yea we all hope we are in the end times as that would be the proof of prophecy and showing there is a spirit world rather than nothing after death. a lot of people are hoping that the rf id chip people are getting implanted in their hand to buy and sell with a wave of their hand over a scanner is the bible prophecy of the mark of the beast that happens in the end times. you have to have that mark to buy or sell in the end times. 😺
