Have you ever known someone who became depressed and committed suicide due to smoking marijuana?

I think if you're predisposed to certain conditions it can produce negative effects, things effect everyone differently

Weed is a hullucunagen. If you are already depressed or anxious, weed can intensify those feelings leading to suicide. But I would blame the suicide on the underlying depression, not the weed.

Causes panic attacks in me. So I just tell people I'm allergic. Lol

I’ve never heard of it being the cause of depression and suicide because the medical effects give you the opposite feeling. Everyone is different though. Still find it hard to believe unless it was laced

The ones i've heard of who've committed suicide have gone from marijuana to something like ice, then the severe side-effects of that led to the depression. They were remembered for their marijuana use, not their late-stage hard drug habit.
