They are such a mystery. I've never seen the Egyptian ones up close but I did see one in Mexico

It may be just my take but a pyramid seems the easiest way to build a huge builting. Obviously moving thousands of tons of stone is a big accomplishment but the design doesnt really show any engineering skill
