Why does a lot of people in society expect everyone to be outgoing and friendly?

It is annoying. Especially in the cookie cutter corporate world. Everyone is expected to be fluid and near perfect. No room for different types of people or those who are wired differently.

Because they don’t understand that there is a huge variety of differences in personalities.
