I've been off and on that thought process for some time. Usually when the depression and pain are at it's worst. There are times when I'm out of it that I don't feel that way. Yes, we can say it's our right, our body, our life, but I really don't know what the right answer is. I won't be a hypocrite and say "oh nooooo, don't blagh blagh blagh" when I've thought that myself, but I just don't feel it's the answer to it all.

Sorry, not being supportive or helpful here, hell just rambling basically. All I know is, I have come of out those thoughts more often than not even though my life hasn't changed. Depression is a nasty bastard that will say everything we fear or hate or even imagine about ourselves and amp it up a couple hundred just to mess with our heads. May not help knowing you're not the only one, but you're not. I wish I had some profound words or insight to help you through this rough patch, but like you, I can get lost in the darkness.

Just know and remember that there are people out here that you've touched and are here for you.

🤗 for you if you want.
How is it not the answer? It’s the path to peace. @MrPerditus1

I don't remember the reasoning behind the suicide-is-a-crime law ever having been properly debated in modern society. It was handed down to us from an entirely christian perspective in which god alone could judge when it was a person's time to die. And quite frankly I think that's bollocks, that we should all be allowed to make that decision.

The problem there comes from admitting that nobody ever decided to commit suicide when the were at the top of their game... the decision to do so was invariably when the were at the lowest point they'd ever been at.

So yes, there should be clinics and the stigma should be completely removed, but still there are problems. You don't need me to tell you that suicide never solved anything. All a suicide does is pass all that pain and suffering on to someone else who in all probability isn't going to be the same person that cased the problem in the first place. The person who caused the problems isn't going to care what you do... it's the ones who do care that are going to get hurt.

So yes again, there should be clinics and the stigma should be removed, but those clinics would have to be damn good at their jobs because the result of getting it wrong would still be that a person might decide they still have nothing left to live for.

So in my opinion such clinics could only ever be a stop-gap emergency facility. What's really needed goes much deeper and would involve including the likes of psychiatrists, phycologists, and councillors etc, genuine long term carers and support structures which would include housing providers and employers which someone would have to financially guarantee would never be taken away for lack of funding etc.

And sadly I see very little hope of ever seeing those sort of facilities while the average man in the street would much rather it all be swept under the carpet out of sight.
No, It's your disease and disorder. Once you are successfully treated, you won't think about doing that. Harming yourself isn't rational. And think of all the people who would be devastated, hurt and sad if you were to off yourself.

Think about getting treatment for it instead..it's okay to get help, and not a weakness if you need it. Sometimes, something as simple as a change of scenery, disconnecting from social media can help. Stepping outside for a walk can do wonders.

You can do whatever you want. It will seriously hurt people you had no idea thought of you very kindly. It would shock you how many people care about you.

It saddens me to read your words. I hope you'll find a reason to keep on living. 🤗
Not in a medical clinic. They take an oath, "First, do know harm"

You can only do a advance directive which instructs them not to revive a life threatening heart attack, or other life threatning disease.

Many people believe people who suicide go to a dark place you don't want to experience. But this is not a scientific fact.
I think it has more to do with it being a liability to the person who aides it.

Suicide isn't the solution. 🥴
