What's the point of laws then? They are there to take out the emotional factor.

Is she the Jury foreman? The District Attorney? If not, then she may want him executed, but the legal system is the party that should deal with it.

The murderer should be executed regardless of what the widow or any family member says.

A very slippery slope ...I can certainly understand the anguish, but ultimate say on punishment?
Here we have victim impact statements that allow the widow in this case to air their thoughts... Useful for both the judge in determining the sentence and the victims for having their selves heard

I say yes but only in cases where the case is watertight prosecution wise & only for Murder in first degree (wilful). Also It makes no diff wether widow or widower agree just get shot of perptrator
