I don't get how a man becomes a transsexual, dates women and claims he's a lesbians. I don't understand it.

I once heard a story on NPR about a man who became a woman but he likes women so he considers himself a lesbian. The NPR host asked him, "when did you know you were a lesbian?" How crazy are these people? These people are sick.

I heard another story on npr where a 2 year old wanted to dress up like Dorothy for Halloween so the parents allowed him to and claimed he was a girl. They also wanted to change his sex. WTF? If a 2 year old wants to wear a dress, you tell him no. You shouldn't encourage it. He doesn't know what he's doing. Sick people!

That's kind of the point. You don't understand it. You don't go through it, you don't know how it feels. I'm not going to get into the 'gender and sex are different things" bit, because it's been used so much that it's as much of a soundbite as "mutilating yourself doesn't make you a woman," or "it's a mental disease". But, I will say there are plenty of us who wish to transition into a woman, even though we're attracted to women. I don't care if you call us lesbians or 'dude in a dress who likes girls', my point is gender does not equal sexuality.

Onto the second point of your post...even I, one of them there mentally ill tranny chicks with a dick, agree that 2 years old is way to young to be making that decision. But, Halloween, and especially at that age, if he wants to be Dorothy Gale, or a little girl wants to be Captain America, let them. No big deal. It's the one night a year you can be anyone or anything you want.

@SarahAndSamantha Do lesbians want same sex because of the female brain or is it that they want a female with a man's brain?

Accept it or not, men and women have different kinds of thinking and brains are physically different.

The brains of homosexual people are even physically different too.
Just so you know.

@BobsGotBalls Linguistic definition. French Spanish etc. Use feminine or masculine words and hence the term, gendered language.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@BobsGotBalls Thank you. I had forgotten that little soundbite. "But you can't change your DNA, chromosomey thingies." Although admittedly you phrased it more eloquently.

My apologies, while I did use the term gender, you'll note that I specifically avoided "sex does not equal gender". I'm as sick of hearing it as you are.

@SteelHands I am well aware of the physical differences in a male and female brain. and the different ways they think. whether you want to believe it or not, I live it

@SarahAndSamantha I've been interested in this subject a long time. I've read just about all the things you have and more. I know the facts in the health reporting and don't engage in the many petty disputes about the actual condition which I first read about in the 1960s Look Magazine about a former soldier with her, formerly him, preparing to marry her husband.

Spare me the attempt to portray me as ill informed, ignorant, phobic, or hateful, then.

This is a serious enough matter that needs to be seriously discussed. You can't be blind to the reality that some end up regretting their decision while others do not.

To claim otherwise is deadly hateful and probably costing as many lives due to insanity to live and adjust as the number that would be able to adjust but are either too fearful or can't due to financial limitations.

To let feelings decide what's true and what's not only shows a kind of carelessness that comes from profiting on pain and tragedy.

I think we've all had just about enough of that.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@SteelHands Was not my intention to paint you in a negative light. And I apologize if it came across that way. I simply meant to acknowledge that yes, there are differences in male and female brains.

It is a serious matter, needing serious discussion. If I came across as flippant....good. I meant to. There is no serious discussion. It's the same catch phrases repeated over and over.

"It's a mental disorder." Agreed, actually. Does that make us bad, or does it mean we need help?

"They need treatment." Yes, we do. So why is it the best treatment we can get is ridiculed?

"Their suicide rates are high" Is this really because of gender dysphoria, or 'regretting our transition' or is it the way we're treated by the general public? A lack of a support system?

"Bathrooms! Some dude in a dress will try to molest my daughter!" Hey, I betcha there are transgender people out there who would molest your daughter. there are cisgender men and women who would do it to. Unfortunately, there are pedophiles and rapists in ever sub section of humanity. But a vast majority of us, cis and trans alike, just wanna pee and get out real quick. That's it. "But they might try and sneak a peek" Gay men and women MIGHT try the same, hell, even heteros MIGHT just for curiosities sake. But again, few and far between. And what's going to happen to me if I walk into the men's room in a dress, hair done up girly, makeup on, etc.? The guys in there won't be comfortable, some might even attack me, verbally if i'm lucky. What's going to happen to me if I walk in the ladies room the same way? The girls aren't comfortable, some might even attack me, verbally if i'm lucky. Let's flip the coin, a FTM walks into a ladies room, where according to a lot of people is where 'she' belongs. This particular person has no breasts, a full beard, muscular, until you look at their genitals, you'd swear they were a man. What's going to happen? Seems to be the only option is to have a third, gender neutral bathroom. "But why should we have to pay for a third bathroom? It's ridiculous!!!" All right, we'll use the ladies room. "But rapists and molesters!." Fine, we'll use the men's room. "Get out of here, faggot!" And round and round we go.

"Why can't they be happy with what god gave them?" If I was happy with what god gave me, I would've died when my spleen burst. People change 'what god gave them' all the time, sometimes necessarily so, sometimes for aesthetic reasons. Why is it that if I were to try to make my life better by changing what god gave me, I'm an abomination, but is someone wants to dye their hair or get a tattoo or a boob job, nose job, save themselves with a heart transplant or one of thousands of other ways we alter ourselves, it's acceptable?

"It's mutilation!" You could say the same about all surgeries if you want. Again, why are some acceptable while others aren't?

"You can't change your dna/chromosomes, you'll never be a real woman" We get it! We do understand. We don't have ovaries or a uterus or the proper chromosomes or anything else you want to throw at us. We will never be 'real' in the purest sense of the word. We're simply making an attempt to live as close to the way we're happiest as we can. Where's the part that makes us terrible people?

"Some regret the transition!" Sure, some do. And that sucks. But for others, it's the best decision they can make. I admit to not knowing actual numbers off hand, but I have a feeling that a high percentage of people wind up regretting marriage than this. So, let's make husbands and wives the villain. Ban marriage! Why can't they be happy be single, like god made them....yup, it's dumb.

"Being trans is a choice!" I disagree. I didn't choose this, who would, really? Transitioning is a choice, sure. Plenty of transgender people choose to never transition. I'm one of them, by the way. But even if it is a choice, so what? Shouldn't I be allowed to make that choice? It's mine to make, right?

None of this is an attack on you, or really anyone in this thread. Just me being tired of the same old soundbites thrown around over and over again. Yes, i'm emotional about this. Can't help it.

@SarahAndSamantha You wrote too much, you're not speaking facts, and just pushed a false narrative.

Whos bad.

Anyone. Anyone that endorses the chemical changes to a child that hasn't yet even reached the age to know if they should later decide they want to be a parent. That goes double for divorced mothers of supposedly "transsexual" toddler to teen aged kids.

Wacko activist judges that immediately rush to sustain those insane, sterilizing, possibly life destroying claims by mothers with a vendetta against father or fathers against moms, grandparents or anyone else that thinks it's a thing less than legalizing the mutilation of a child.

Anyone that thinks it safe to meddle with their natural endocrinology and gestate a living human after doing so.

Keep in mind: A generation of girls who's mothers were prescribed ethinyl estradiol for pregnancy discomforts in the 1950s and 1960s ended up with massively high rates of uterine cancer twenty years later. For all we know it may also have contributed to changes in prenatal males as well that is causing this problem of gender dysphoria.

Now we're going to find out if testosterone gives baby boys testicular rot 20 years later or maybe masculinize females so they are as repulsed by thought of sex with a Male as a raging heterosexual 20 years hence????

And I don't mean pseudo female. A true Male brained Labian isn't going to settle for an artificial luna.

Go on call me full of shit. I'm quite aware I might be wrong on some of this but I'm fairly fact based on some of it. The problem here is that the LGBT lobby refused to allow the real research and scientific facts out in the open and anyone even daring to start research is immediately fired, the papers are buried and the researcher is ostracized and treated like a raging psycho. So who else.

Oh yeah.

Any member of the LGBT advocacy that secretly supplies powerful hormones without the prerequisite psychological consultations. Or points accusing fingers at concerned parents. The legal LGBTQxyzh%fd$e@sing brigade that for now, protects the plastic surgeons, the drug firms, and the individuals who lead this crazy parade.

Although I think that when those little ones grow up if they don't care enough about being told to put on dresses or shave their hair the layers of insurance companies and their doctors will eventually be shorn for making them sterile by deciding wrongly.

Fallacies don't change into facts by coming into fashion.

Chromosome pairs don't change when you atrophy the bodies endocrine systems with synthetic chemicals.

You can advocate for the unusual and the unique but you're only sacrificing the normal in yourself. 98.6 is my proof that normal isn't a construct. Don't try telling me that your unusual and unique needs to become my normal. It's never going to happen.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
And by the way. If you're presenting as a Male, even one that passes badly or vice versa, you use the bathroom that matched the presentation.

The women's room is for women looking people and the men's is for men looking ones.

When someone doesn't make an effort on their presentation they shouldn't complain when someone can easily see they're not actually trying to look one thing or the other.

That game stop guy/ girl was way out of line. No falsies and no vocal practice or padding. That guy deserved the embarrassment.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@SteelHands A lot of wordier versions of catchphrases I've heard over and over again.

I don't care about your normal. Have it. just leave mine alone..

*picks up mic, places it back on the stand*
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@SarahAndSamantha My normal happens to be 98% of the world. You can be called whichever sex you live by. So if tricking men that are probably going to want to procreate and live a family life by not immediately divulging this as soon as or maybe just before your lips touch is your decision.

As for my opinion it's a cruel waste of time when you don't. because it underestimates my acceptance. Then possibly shows a gross disrespect for yourself as well.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@SteelHands Whatchoo talking bout willis? Did I do that? Ayyyyyyyy. I said good day! I can use catchphrases too.

yes, 98% of the world is your normal. So why does my 2% cause such a shit show with you 'normal people'? I am literally causing no harm, to anyone. And if I am causing any harm, it's only to myself. And the harm I'm causing myself is most likely to come from one of the 98%.

And why do you assume I'm out to trick any potential lover? Were I to be with someone, they would know the facts about me before we even held hands, let alone kissed. Also, why do you assume it would be with a man?

Can you think of anymore soundbites that I've had thrown in my face over and over again? Open up the drawer, we'll have a bible reading? Can you think of any I haven't heard?

*Guitar smash*

@BobsGotBalls Congrats! I actually haven't heard that one. lol.
