if you didn’t have to work ever again would you except that or would you go crazy from all the free time?

xixgun · M
The idea of "all this free time" is a myth.
You still have to clean your house, buy food, prepare and cook it, do dishes, do laundry, take care of the kids/pets/lawn/car, etc.

You may have more free time than someone who works 40 hours a week, but you're still working.
Very true, think of it more like having more control over your schedule then.@xixgun

@xixgun But if you have all this free time (because you no longer have to work) perhaps you won the lottery or inherited millions of dollars, you can hire staff to do the household chores.

Id adore the free time. Just to live life at my own pace would be bliss.

I’m going crazy from all the free time. I went from 150 mph to 10 mph. If I wasn’t going to be babysitting my grand child I definitely would go back to work. You can only clean the same crap and watch tv so much.

Could easily fill the time helping a charity I’m involved with as well as some travelling

I would like that very much. I would always find something to do. As someone else said, just taking care of myself and doing household chores would keep me busy a good part of the time, and I would also finally have time for some projects that I want to work on, and I could get back to some hobbies that I haven't had time for in many years. So I would always be busy.

I think I would go a bit nuts from the free time. Assuming I had all this free time on my hands and won the lottery or something, I might enrol in medical school and make my life worthwhile.

I'd love to keep selling stuff like I already do, from home.
Stuff you do for enjoyment wouldn’t count for work. @SW-User

@Dirtymikeandtheboys it's not enjoyment, it's a business, some costumers are annoying, but indeed I'd still do it.
Then that would be considered work @SW-User

I'd use the free time to work on hobbies, like music, foreign languages. I've plenty that I want to do.
