Have you ever called a wrong number and ended up friends with that person you accidentally called?

Not quite but I once received a perfectly innocent mis-directed text, reading something like,

"Hello Sue. See you Saturday 10am. Mary"

On the basis that it could be important I tapped back,
"Sorry Mary, I'm a [Arish] not a Sue. : -)" (Smiley broken to keep original form.)

Mary replied, apologising for bothering me. Taking the risk I shot back,
"No problem thank you. You can bother me any time!"

This started about 3 weeks of occasional, mild flirting which also showed she is married and lived about 200 miles away. Mary started becoming a bit fruity, and asked for a photo.

"Sorry Mary - this phone can't take or receive photos." Which was true.

A pause, then, "How do you expect to meet anyone?"

My pause now, floored by this odd question. "Err, same as people have always met I suppose. Mainly by chance"

I didn't hear from Mary again... :-(

No, but I took an ad out once on Craigslist, more than a decade ago, and a woman answered it accidentally. She was trying to respond to another ad, but when she copied the response address, she typed in the wrong digit, so it sent it to my ad. We ended up dating for a little while.

If i remember someone accidentally called my grandmother trying to reach the funeral home.

If I remember right his mother passed away.

They were on the phone for like 45 min lol.

Lol no, but it sounds like something I would do.
