For generations, gayness in men was demonized and parents certainly did not allow their male children to play with dolls and "girly" toys and were discouraged from effeminate behaviour....and yet there were still a ton of gay men.

I had a cousin who wanted a doll for Christmas when he was 5 years old and my uncle (not his father) bought it for him. He never acted girly though. He later joined the 101st Airborne Division and went to Vietnam. My uncle said boys who play with dolls learn how to be fathers.

That's because it is totally OK to be gay, people are certainly born that way.
