Why are so many people scared to stand up against police corruption?

@SW-User Policemen are workers that bring home a wage packet they arent an occupying army. They are too much hated and have too much anti police sentiment within our society.

@SW-User That sounds kinda nice though. In my experience, most cops in the US think they're better than you. Above you. You are a problem they don't want to deal with. Then the hate towards them makes it worse, which then grows the hate, etc.

@SW-User I think that american policemen have been highly trained to be very reactive towards any possible threat. It's probably requested of then. In Italy cops have to be REAL careful how they act or react or THEY risk prison time. It's NOT a joke: it's almost as if crimimals have more protection. It's a strange coincidence because I was reading this morning how suicide is WAY higher among the Italian police than the general public.
