I know that voicing my opinions and concerns probably won't make a difference. But what bothers me most is people like [b] justanotherdirtyoldman[/b] who say as long as it doesn't harm animals or children and no one else is affected, it's okay. Where and how did society arrive at that conclusion?
As someone with a psychology degree who's studied some of this stuff, I know what lies behind a lot of it, and it saddens me.
Maybe that's one reason why I speak on it occasionally, I don't know. Just another flaw of mine, I suppose.

@AlienZipper It鈥檚 not a flaw. I just think we should be less judgmental. I think as long as they鈥檙e not a danger to themselves or others, and it鈥檚 between consenting adults, it鈥檚 none of my business what other people do and enjoy, especially in their own homes. Everyone has their own kinks and fantasies. Some are just more extreme than others, and while they don鈥檛 turn me on (and some I find disgusting or ridiculous, personally), if it makes them happy and helps them get through the day, who am I to judge? I鈥檓 much less concerned about the baby talker than those killing students in our schools. There鈥檚 real mental illness and anger there, and yet NOTHING is done about that.
