Do guys ever downplay their feelings about a woman?

For sure. Guys have the same stigma that girls do about seeming "desperate." Guys even have a further stigma of not wanting to seem "whipped." Because of that, I would think it's very common for guys to downplay their feelings for women so as not to seem less masculine.

I think especially if she seems really forthright about her feelings, it might cause a guy to try and balance that by downplaying. This yin and yang is what creates good balance in relationships though.

I would imagine everyone is different ..And how easy each man is with there own Feelings and Emotions ..

"feelings" are a mixed bag of confusion IMHO.. unlike women, men are not trained to deal with them..
