Fish are fragile creatures..i heard a story where a guy put his wrist watch on top of the aquarium during a party and all the fish died because their hearts picked up the rhythm of the ticking. I don’t know if it’s true though..im sorry for your loss

I once had an 80 gallon high aquarium with gorgeous and beautiful and very fancy goldfish of different colors. I had 8 of them, but there was one little guy who would allow me to stroke him with my finger. I can understand your feelings.
