Would it be wrong of me to get my neighbor a birthday present but not my mom?

My neighbor is more of a mom to me than my own mom at this point.

The relationship you have with your mother SHE CREATED! If you are not comfortable giving her a gift it is on HER. Your neighbor is a kind soul that you bonded with a gift is a nice way of letting her know you acknowledge that.

@curiosi She is helping me with a bunch of stuff that will get me out of the house (work, a way for me to get an apartment and be safe since I have epilepsy).
