do you support things like self driving cars, lab grown meat and pocket super computers and flying cars?
The idea of super computers and flying cars sounds good to me but I would hope they would have ways for the cars to land safely if something brakes and low speeds so no one could run into each other. I like the idea of traveling by a train on a wire in the air or thoes trains on rails in the air kind of like roller coasters. I dont think self driving cars would work, there are too many human errors that could cause accidents. I think if people had higher standards for the quality of the machines and equipment they make it could save a lot more lives then trying to invent new safer technology. it is important to grow and create safer technology but i do not think that they test things enough and approve too many things, the idea of lab grown meat scares me the most, if they were able to replicate animal tissue for food what if they accidentally replicate one that is infected and everyone who bought it at a grocery store got sick, or if the factory conveyor belts were not cleaned and it spread some infectious disease? I was shopping at my usual grocery store and a few days before i bought chopped lettuce the next time i came in it was all recalled. I already ate it, the recalled it because of a virus spreading. many people I know were out sick from work that week I wonder if it was related.

The idea of artificial meat or meat substitutes based on the use of plant tissue is ok but using actual dna from animals to create tissue on a matrix is a bit of a put off. Most likely it will be contaminated with human dna and we would become unwitting cannibals.
@Tastyfrzz yea thats something I didnt think of thats scary. I think when we start doing things like huge mass production of anything its dangerous because if something goes wrong many more people will be effected then if it was hand made.

It's one thing if they made mamoth meat but if it's replicated from John's dick...

All that is inevitable. As the world population grow and people live longer ; the tradition way to sustain people will not be enough and innovative technology will be needed. There will be some hiccups but it will be optimized and we will get on with it. Since the change will be gradual, you will not even notice the transition.

Your concern of the process being the imcubator of disease is not without merit. There will not be any defense around these cells like living creatures have. No antibodies or white blood cells. If antibiotics are used it would result in the consumers defenses being reduced. It does not sound viable.

Most of your concerns are process issues that will be ironed out and become far safer than the chaos we live in now.
