what is the best way to get even with someone who used you, destroyed your rep and left you shattered and broken to the point where you are alone all and just want to crawl into an abyss and die?

Move on. Avoid bitterness. I heard that holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. Just shake them off and keep going. Your best days still may be ahead of you.

Vent, cry, take long walks, pamper yourself, mourn the loss, throw out any reminders of them, then move on by keeping busy and start a new goal, live well, thats the best revenge.

Best option would be to get that person out of your life. Fully ignore them and make it clear you want nothing to do with the. Next, lean on family and friends for some emotional support and work on trying to get your feet under you again. Then make the best out of your life so that you show the other person who hurt you that you are far better off without them in your life.

@gmatthewb i thought that when i finally got married that i would have someone that loved me and cared for me and gave me the basic necessities of life. he ended up taking that last once of me and tossing it away. we have nothing together and i am alone all the time

@LILY61 I'm very sorry he isn't a good husband for you. He should be supporting you and making you happy. With guys like that, it is no wonder women have little respect for men these days. You would probably be better on your own it seems, you feel that way anyway. Maybe just focus on what you want and do what you can to make you happy, unless he would stop you from doing that too.

@Deadcutie i haven't had friends in a long time. my life has been one disaster after another and i really have no one. when i had people, they always steered me wrong and lied about me. the person i mentioned is just one more person that went along with them. it really destroyed me
