@Straylight Oooh. You like the Caribbean flavor! I know very little about these. I've been prone to the folly of Solomon since I was a teenager, but I am very careful not to bite off more than I can chew........except for when it comes to 30 year old food! 🤢

@puck61 I live in New Orleans (technically, near New Orleans, if you want to split hairs) which is an important place in Voodoo. Sure, the dolls and the charm shops are just tourist crap, but theres legit stuff too. I dont really dabble in it, but it's an interesting religion with a unique take on the concept of a god.

@TrashCat The packages looked fine, and smelled like food, but I only got halfway through. The squares of meat kind of turned into sawdust when I chewed them. It was moist but the little squares of meat seemed to dry out as I chewed. Probably not the smartest thing I've done this week.

@puck61 Well you gave it a try... I won't eat anything in my fridge longer than 2 days old so kudos for that
