You know, I have never been comfortable asking for gifts. It's something I rarely even think about. If I ask for it, it isn't a gift to me. I have always been more into the giving of gifts...I just like to please and surprise someone, get them something they need, want, or might like/enjoy that is within my ability. Isn't that the whole meaning of the word "gift"? People ask me what I want and my mind goes blank because there isn't anything there to draw from.
