Quit other job.. new job backing out/unsure of me

So I interviewed with a company 8 weeks ago. They were really unsure then, calling me in for 3 interviews. They then went totally cold not even calling me back to say I didn’t get the job. Didn’t respond to my emails. Well I moved on, got another job with a number 5 Tech company. They call me 3 weeks into the new job to make me a huge offer. They send it to me in an email. I get excited, I put in my notice to my job. Well my last day is a week in, I leave old job and that day literally they call me to say that corporate HR has a problem with me not having a masters degree. None of this was every mentioned in my interview. They tell me it’s going to take a bit to make a decision.. then call me Friday to say I got the job! Yay.. THEN 30 minutes later start asking for portfolios (digital marketinfand references) I sent over. THEN got a call that today, they thought my work was high schoolish.. then asked if my work that I guess they though was good, was done through a marketing firm (basically accusing me of plagiarism). He says that he wants me to go on to THEIR website and make a new presentation using the images I find there.. I kind of lost it and just said that yes I did the work, I’m sorry he thought my other work was high schoolish - that I have put my notice in at my other job and need to know if I have a job or not. (They’ve made two offers and recinded) he said yeah well that depends on you. Put the presentation together within the next couple of days and I’ll let you know.. I’m just completely flabbergasted. I QUIT my other job for this.. and to be honest I want to go tell this guy to eff himself.. please need advice. Should I just say screw him and go look for another job? Beg for my old job back?

Rock and a hard place... The job you just quit probably see you as being unreliable now and the new mob seems to be unreliable ... Suggestion... With the job you just quit, ask if you can see your old supervisor for coffee... Apologise and explain how you've learnt a lot from the experience... They may want you back but even if they don't, you've mended some bridges
Yikes! You quit the new job. Not sure they'd trust if you asked to stay. Slim chance if you tell them interviewed with other company first.

Would you really want to work for this company now? HR concerns should have been raised before they made you the offer. Seems like they are yanking you around.

Many big companies are extremely slow in responding. But this... 🤔
