How do I get rid of the low tire pressure signal after pumping air into tire?

My car had a "Low tire pressure" warning and I just pumped air into it and my tire is very firm and the warning sign is still there.

It should go away after driving awhile. If not there is still a problem.

@NeuroticByNature Yeah because even while driving, my tires feel fine so I was wondering why it's still there but alright. Hopefully it goes away soon.

[c=#BF0080]Are you sure you filled the right one? I remember hearing that some systems that tell which tire don’t have them listed how you’d expect and confuses people. Unless it’s a bad sensor.. I’d check the pressure number on them all incase before spending money to to change the sensor. My light went off immediately every time I filled it. [/c]

@MellyMel22 Yes because I pressurized all the tires just to be sure after the signal was still on, and I did it again for all the tires a second time and the sensor was still on.

@justicexoxoxo [c=#BF0080]But did you read the PSI on them all? And make sure that they’re all what the vehicle says it needs?[/c]

the sensors do misreport quite a bit...feeling full has nothing to do with it - got to go with the PSI the manufacturer has recommended
justicexoxoxo · 26-30, M
@nahright09 Nah but if the tire is above the manufacturer recommendation it shouldn't say low pressure because it's filled all the way.
nahright09 · 41-45, M
@justicexoxoxo yup...you're right. Sensor's probably hosed

Reset in the car settings menu . Usually hold it for 5-10 second la depending on the Male and model of car

Probably the sensor is bad. Mine does it too
justicexoxoxo · 26-30, M
@MURD3RM0NK3Y So it's normal for it stay on for a little bit even after the fact?
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
@justicexoxoxo Yeah that's normal.

@monimathu I pressurized all of them to be sure and it still did it.

Maybe it’s another tire.
justicexoxoxo · 26-30, M
@LyricalOne i filled all the tires, and checked all of em, all felt firm.

@justicexoxoxo Could be the sensor, like others have said, but I’ve had the same thing happen and when I filled each tire just a bit more, the light did go off. Worth a try at least.

The sensor needs to be reset.
