It doesn't change much after you're an adult. They still look down on you. They may no longer be giving you orders (because you no longer live together), but that's about it.
Just be unavailable to them; find something to do that takes you away from them.

Tell me about it. Even worse when sister started college as she dead busy n that. She bangs on about extra curricular n help out at this charity shop over weekends.
