Did your parents read books to you as a child?

Maybe? I don’t remember it but we always had books and I began devouring every book I could get my hands on as soon as I could read, so I don’t really remember needing to be read to.

Not that I can remember. I think my older half sister read to all of us. We went to the library ever second Saturday morning without fail. My parents were strong supporters of learning. As long ad I can remember I took out as many books ad i could Carry held in both my arsm stacked high. I was comfortable in thd adult section quite early. Aftet a short time no one bothered to as if I was lost and in the wrong department.

My mom did it once. And then i ruined it & she got mad at me & went to her room.

My grandfather did. I don’t remember anyone else reading to me

My mother left before I was born and my father can’t read

Yes, and I'm truly convinced that it helped me to do well in school.

My mom did, and I ended up basically teaching myself to read by about four.
