Do you think parents who bring their noisy kids in the cinema are selfish?

Not if they are taking the kids to a movie made for kids. Especially the ones aimed at the very young.

If it's PG14, maybe the very young shouldn't be there at all. But if you go to a children's movie, maybe it would be a good idea to go to a later showing, after all the littles are home in bed.

I would never take a very young child (under 8 years) to any movie rated PG. Or even 8+ .

On the other hand, I won't allow mine to run around, or stand up, or to just be loud and obnoxious, but I won't shush them for laughing out loud or asking questions, or expressing their thoughts about what they are seeing.

@Serenitree PG14? When did that certificate come out? I've heard of PG13, but not PG14.
Serenitree · F
@NankerPhelge Oh, sorry, I misspoke. It's PG, or 14A. 14A means anyone under 14 must be accompanied by someone over 18.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@Serenitree I've never heard of 14A either.

@NankerPhelge she's from Canada

@MightySizeQueen Even so, I've seen various movie certifications on IMDb. I look at that site rather frequently.

@MightySizeQueen I sure am.

Only in Canada, eh?

@Serenitree I'm not denying it exists, I was just saying it's a new one on me.

@Serenitree Yes, I think it's okay for kids to enjoy the movie like we do as long as they don't make a ruckus out of it.
Serenitree · F
@NankerPhelge I knew that.
The Only in Canada, eh?" Is from an old old commercial.
