why is it when you spot a catfish they take it so hard they had been found out?

I don't know. I've been on this site for two years, I still keep seeing posts about catfish but after all this time I still haven't encountered a catfish.

Possibly giving too much attention to them?

I've been accused of having multiple accounts when I only have one active profile. I don't know-how people assume to know who's real and who's not. It's a mind fuck to make this claim unless you have proof. Of course, there are some who do intentionally catfish others, but I think there are many decent people here as well.

Because they have to make a new profile and start over. 😂😂
