Do you support gay marriage?

I do, simply because I want my partner to be able to collect my social security.

Sure. The majority of people who don’t are miguided Christians who can’t look themselves in the mirror...the lady a few years back that refused a gay couple a marriage lisence was divorced 4 times which is also a major sin in the Bible....even if I was anti gay that doesn’t give me a right to force my personal beliefs into law. My interpretation of this country is equal rights for all regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
@Insomniac100 Beautifully said. Thank you!

Of course. I'm not an asshole.
@AmbivalentFriability LOL, no you certainly aren't. You're one of the good guys!

@AllMight If he could not provide another viable reason, then yes that would be a civil rights violation.

@FelixLegion I, too have a great disdain for that kind of behavior. I hate "gay pride parades" where there is WAY to much flaunting.

Of course I’m bisexual and someday I may wish to marry a woman
I also have numerous lgbt family and friends

I don't support marriage for gay people specifically. I support marriage for any two people who want to commit themselves to each other. It's about equal rights for every single person, has nothing to do with gay, or not gay.
@Steve42 It's totally meant as an equal rights issue. As specific as a woman right to vote.
Steve42 · 56-60, M
See, I don't view it that way. "Women's right to vote" to me is more about every single person's right to vote. Women's, different races, etc. More to the spirit of the act than the characteristic of the person performing the act.
@Steve42 That's okay, you're welcome to your opinion.

I support marriage. Between two consenting adults.
PotPrincess1 · 36-40, M
No. However I’m all for allowing mentally ill people the freedom to do as they please
Graylight · 51-55, F
@PotPrincess1 not to be too rough, but that's pretty much the thinking of a troglodyte in this day and age. No professional organization considers homosexuality to be a mental disorder, and it's prevalent within the animal kingdom. Mankind is no exception.
PotPrincess1 · 36-40, M
It’s a mental disorder to think it is normal
Graylight · 51-55, F
@PotPrincess1 Well, the APA, AMA and just about every other professional organization disagree with you.
I didn't even know you were gay!!
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I'm exceedingly happy. LOL.
@Coyotedave611 That's because you make other people happy. I think there's probably a mutual vibe there.

Yes definitely.
SmartKat · 56-60, F
Yes. Some people I like and people I love happen to be gay. I support not making them be second-class citizens.
@SmartKat Thanks for saying so, it's people like you that makes this world a better place.😀
CDPixie · 46-50, T
Of course. :) Two “peoples” happiness is all that matters. ;)
I don’t give money to anybody’s wedding
missinghaven · 22-25, F
Yes because there is nothing wrong with it.
