Constantly sick.. from new baby

Y’all. I have been so sick since having a newborn.. I have had FOUR serious respiratory infections since starting my newborn in Day Care 3 months ago. I’m to the point now, that I’ve had them back to back and basically my lungs feel like they are shutting down. I’m on an inhaler and doing breathing treatments etc.. Scared for my life basically because I feel like my body is about to quit on me.. Constant deep coughing, can’t take a full breath, severe chest pain, high back to back fevers..anybody go through this with their baby? Did you survive? And how ?

I’ve had a CT scan etc and keep telling me it’s not like cancer or anything. Just bad back to back respiratory infections

I'm so so sorry, imo nothing is scarier than not being able to breathe.
How is your little one doing? Anyone else sick?
I remember those days, they were really rough. When they go to daycare they pick up every germ around, they need to break in their immune systems. Sadly, they bring those germs home and people get sick.
Hang in there, get help from anyone who can. This is the time to rally the troops and get help. I hope things get better for you soon.

Day Care is very unhealthy for baby and mom. My daughter works in one and she is constantly plagued by colds and respiratory infections. She picks them up from the kids. When she didn't work in the day care she rarely even got a sniffle.

Something in your house? Forced air... dirty air ducts?

Many women can develop different allergies and sensitivities to allergens after giving birth.

Have your place tested, air quality, etc.

I became more sensitive when having my son. My skin changed, contact lenses bothered me, wearing makeup bothered me and still bothers me. Your body goes through hell after giving birth.

Have you had these before? Has your baby been sick too? It just doesn’t sound right that it’s not eased up. What are they giving you to get rid of this?
