Border wall, YAY or NAY?

It's been estimated that the wall could run upwards of between 30-40 billion dollars. Do you think the projected cost justifies building the wall?

@Sniper Those are just numbers I saw this morning, not my "claims" no need for sarcasm, I myself am still vacillating with the idea. Personally, I think it would be more effective to ENFORCE current laws with much stiffer penalties to corporations who hire illegals. Really, doesn't that make more sense?

Nay! My reasons are a bit looney I think. It makes me feel like I am being closed in. I don't think it's the wall itself but the fact that government has this much power
@Mondayschild As Carl Sandburg once wrote, "Something there is that doesn't love a wall"...nothing a bit loony about your ideas.😁

Well, when you consider most undocumented people in the U.S. have overstayed visas, I'm not sure a wall is really about immigration.

Most illegal immigrants came here legally and overstayed their allotment. Walls just trap them in. Doesn't keep airplanes out.
