if reality is a black box that we can never open, truth is what is in the black box. we can weight it , shake it, listen to the sounds coming from it but we can never know what is in the box. but we can build models in our heads of what could be in the box and these models can have various degrees of applicability in terms of predicting what experience our senses will receive from interacting with the box. we can describe our sensation honestly if we choose to.
