So this carpet stain didn’t lift.

Does anyone know about how much it would be to replace about a foot of carpet and the process lmao

? many otc (over the counter) junk doesn't work.

what kinda carpet is it? the style, what it is made of, materials and how thick is it and how is it 'braided' or sewn in.

what is it's color?

what did you use on it?

there are professional cleansers out there, you may have to ebay some of that junk and get a steamer, not a carpet cleaner .. a steamer.

a good steamer that injects hot water vapor into this JUNK... the cleanser to use???? is pretty much trial and error.
(but it should NOT destroy the carpet...)

prior to even bothering with all of this.... get a tooth brush, hard, the cleanser and some zen time.
and work that mess into the stain.
leave it sit.

then (there's a dyson steamer you can obtain through several 'catalog' delay pay sites like fingerhut or stoneberry. (if you can do better, no problemo!)

and work it into a lather then follow how to instruction to use the steamer in question.

then repeat.

worst should happen your portion of the carpet is thinned by overworking and lightness from detergent compounds.

OR it doesn't work!

me, i try that and if it doesn't work, i fabric dye it with industrial dye!

but that is a nightmare also.

that's all i can input, good luck with whatever you pursue!
@sighmeupforthat

This is what I’m working with. I’ve tried every stain cleaning product i could find or think of. I used a carpet cleaner. Nothing has worked

Did you try the amonia/towel/iron method. It has to be a white towel.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@Freudianslip13 I know the ammonia method works because my nephew spilled koolaid on my light beige carpet. It took it out. It took me a few days of ironing that towel on it but eventually it came clean. I would think peroxide would bleach the carpet so be careful.
@Fungirlmmm thanks! I’ll try the ammonia method on it

@Freudianslip13 be sure you open a window too. You're welcome
Did you try going to rent one of those professional carpet cleaner before you replace the carpet?
@jjoe01 yes

Sounds like time to buy a small rug!

And always put down a plastic drop sheet before you make the hit in future!!!
Have you tried everything to get rid of the stain? What stained it?
@WittyKittyfeelinShitty yes. Everythinggggg. Maverick peed on the carpet and a cleaning product then expanded it and turned it pink

you want just a square piece of new carpet? how fashionable
@MartinTheFirst i need it to blend in to the rest of the carpet like nothing happened. My roommate doesn’t know about this stain
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Freudianslip13 it won't... and stop peeing on the rug....

Pull up the whole carpet and pad. Remove tack strips. Put down new tack strips. Roll out padding. place factory edge against the largest straight wall and set into tack strip, then make relief cuts to fit. Kick in new carpet to the other walls walls and trim before setting into tack strips.
