Honest answer please : Do you believe in ghosts? I strongly do not but I'm often attracted to stories that pretend there is such a thing.

@Lillym I'm actually about to be spirited away to other things but I'd love to hear of your experiences. I know a couple of people whom I admire who are convinced they've had a ghost experience - I'm not taking the mickey. Hear from you and others later, hopefully.

@JustLikeGreta For what its worth, a friend who was always scrupulously accurate once told me the following. He'd been listening to me going on about not believing in ghosts and said he'd agree but for one incident. Each evening as he was arriving home from work he'd usually meet this neighbour and exchange greetings. On this occasion he bade the person good evening and he or she just smiled at him and nodded. When he reached home some five minutes later it was to be told that the neighbour had died suddenly an hour or so earlier. I expect there's a rational explanation.
