What's the equivalent for biting your tongue when typing?

I am good at that ,
I delete the post
no need in both of us being pissed
but I hate restraining myself ,
I always try being considerate of others ,watch how I present myself
but I know in text it can be taken the wrong way
so I either over explain myself so their is no misunderstanding ,
or I just type it ,(sort of get it out )
and then I delete it
