Racism will never go away. Humans are masters of creating distinction from nothing: Apple vs Windows. Ford vs Chevy.
In my parents country, genetically homogeneous people, individuals from one village think poorly of another village because they are "lower," "inferior." Mind you they are more genetically related than most people since they are ~ 15 km from one another. It's ugly and it's a part of the human condition.
