Why would you start a short term relationship?

To have fun

Sometimes we start a relationship not knowing that it will be short term, other times we start on knowing that it will probably be short term but knowing that even as a short term relationship it could be a beautiful thing.

I had a couple of summer flings, in my young and crazy days. Both of us knew that at the end of three weeks one of us would be going home and we would never see each other again.
