Not because I like to flirt (I don't like fooling around with other people's emotions), but because that kind of possessiveness and controlling behaviour is a bad sign. In my view, it signals a man who will later turn violent and could murder.
A successful relationship can only be founded on mutual respect, trust, empathy, honesty and integrity.
If that's not there, or if a person's character doesn't permit it, then there's no chance of long term success.
