I'm done looking and hoping for the right person. It's gonna be just me, myself & I now. Does it sound like a sad narrative of my romantic life?

Being in a relationship is the most overrated concept in the world.

After the Honeymoon phase wears off, it's just drudgery and responsibility, with little to no reward.

I'm at my happiest when single, if I'm to be honest.

When i was in love it was the greatest thing in the world
When i lost it, it was the worst thing in the world.
... and In between there was stress, happiness, sadness and drama.

While it's a great thing to have, not having it isn't all bad.

Not at all, I've taken that route a few years ago and learned appreciated my own company and greater freedom a lot since then.

You are the only right person for you. Because if the other is right you'd be left.

You won’t know unless you keep trying.
