@reessa I swear up and down though I'm not the type that needs to take a break after losing my long term.

It's just there are people who use rebounds and then there are people like me who would have maybe been hung up on our exes and yet fully aware there was no way we were ever getting back together and were just heart broken but DONE....

women treated me after my first love left like I was dangerous and of course there's this cliche that no one wants to hear you talk about your ex.

Except the thing is particularly with girls their whole romantic history is relevant for the simple fact that other men will kind of shape what they expect of you.

So of course while I don't want to hear it non stop whenever I'm interested in somebody I am curious as to who they were with and what that was like...

I'm just... I know from hearing people talk about it that it's easier to get a girlfriend when you've already got one and so some men will target the low hanging fruit in order to be "in a relationship" and then go for the girl they actually want but

I am ethically opposed to using people as a stepping stone and similiarly was never the type that would have intense feelings for somebody that would just vanish the moment i got over my ex, probaby in part because I was always inherently polyamorous..

So essentially my heart has never been the exclusive property of anyone. No ones ever had that kind of claim over me...

So if something new decided to tend to those wounds I would not naturally have left.

but of course ya'll forced me to get over her before reentering the market.

no one came for me.... nobody even noticed when I found somebody new.

@BetweenKittensandRiots i get it, if i were to be with anyone it would just be like using them, for comfort or sex. but i would be open about it at the start. but yeah, not looking atm

@reessa I don't really make my mind up quickly about people but once I do I'm like a bull even an unstoppable force can't move me. hate to bring astrology into it but I resemble my moon sign... lunar taurus..
