How can a husband be so distant?

I hope he comes to you in love and care. He could be going through grief too and he shouldn't weigh his as more than yours but may not know how to care in such loss.

I think when it's an arrangement versus two people falling in love and marrying because they can't live without each other, that has a lot to do with it...

Happens! Especially in an arrange marriage. No real mutual interests.

One of many reasons why I do not care for that kind of marriage.

Note my own mother had many miscarriages. Yet her marriage was by choice.

She lived to have 6 children. Though two died during WWII.
