Are the ages of 18-23 too young to get married?

Times have changed...my grandma was 13...

My husband and I got married at 23 and it was hard at first, I'll admit. We were only in graduate school at the time, didn't have the best jobs, and we weren't all that mature. We almost left each other but we worked things out, and we are still married 18 years later.

The divorce rate for people under 25 is like 80%. Lol

I think early marriage is commonly either an attempt to stay with everything you’ve ever known OR to get away from everything you’ve ever known. Neither works very well, usually.

Young couples are more likely to experience money problems, one of the primary causes of divorce.

It’s doable but the odds are against it.

I believe one should experience as much of life for themselves as possible before committing some of their own life to someone else.

I think there are people that are mature enough to handle marriage at that age but they're few and far between.

In my opinion, yes. However, my parents were married in that age range and still are today..

I think 50 is about right. When you have done what you want to with your life and are ready to give up.
