What is your opinion on prenuptial agreements?

SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
It depends on what’s included in it. Like I get everything if he cheats? That’s a good start.

Assuming the hub kicks off first I don't think I'd ever remarry so for me a moot point.

In some cases they are very logical.

I'd sign one
Dan193 · 31-35, M
I want one, but I couldn't ask a person that I love to sign that.
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@JimboUk Because that raises up the question about trust.
If you really trust them, then you shouldn't need that. But of course, if you're marrying just for interst, then get a prenup.
JimboUk · 31-35, M
@Dan193 The institution of marriage is for life. If the intention is to be together for better or worse why wouldn't you sign an prenuptial agreement? Surly it's because of a lack of trust in one another and lasting the course that you wouldn't sign a prenuptial agreement?
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@JimboUk I didn't say that. They would sign it, but they will always have that naggimg thing in the back of their minds that, he doesn't actually trust me, maybe he doesn't even love me as much as I thought.
And why have them think about that and having them create Plan B's for themselves, with money randomly disappearing from the family bank acc, because they're digging their escape tunnel in case things go to 💩. So why have all that, while you're still going to live with them for the rest of your lives?
Deeperminds · 46-50, F
No one should get married in the first place. Living together is not a "sin"
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Deeperminds Living together is not a sin. It’s only a sin if you have sex.
patkaren1717 · 36-40, M
great way to start with no trust.
Prttylttlthng · 41-45, F
Mandatory anymore.
xSharp · 31-35, M

uncalled4 · 56-60, M
I will be drafting one up probably this year
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@uncalled4 Ohhh, do you lose EVERYTHING if you cheat?
