A lot of us hate Christmas time.
Personally it just reminds me of all the people i've lost in my life.
All those friends and relatives no longer here.

If he is positive in everything else, losing Santa day with him isn’t so bad.

It's not unusual for many of us to hate Christmas. While my childhood was hell things escalated at the holidays. It makes it hard to enjoy even years later.
