How come Some people look down on others who say they have morals and values, likes its a bad thing or a self-rightous attitude?

@Myselfabsorbedworld then why do they defend themselves like I was listening to the radio and her woman called in concerned about her friend hooking up with lots of guys and even multiples. And she said her friend got mad at her and all she was doing was worrying about her. But the 📻 hosts were saying people were texting in upset at the friend for even mentioning it and that she should just butt out and mind her own business. And that if men can do it, so can women. And one lays said, "I'm happily married and have children. When I was in my early 30's and focusing on just my career, I slept with a lot of different men, just to have fun, I didn't want anything serious. And I don't regret any of it." Is she just telling herself that to make herself feel better on the inside. Because what I do know is when you look on the mirror or lay your head down at night, the truth always seeps out.
