Emotions are blowing with the wind, they're easy to bend and flex, it's difficult to judge.

The physical reality is written in stone and very easy to judge due to tools such as the Bible that taught our civilization the morals and values we nowadays have.

It's an interesting question, but it's safe to say that our civilization leans more towards the physical reality and of course what we've been taught by our past.
