Have any of you guys and girls been in a successful long distance relationship? (Ending in a real life relationship, or even marriage?)
I would like to know. I'm loyal to my LDR, but sometimes it can be hard. Am going to see them in August, seems like a really long time to wait, and somedays I just want to hold them close, and go on cute dates, watch movies, even just run errands. We talk every night for hours, but when it comes down to it, LDR's are hard. Do you guys and girls think they can really work?
I met a guy on FB and he lived several states away from me. After a year we met and we got engaged. Were together for 17 months before he cheated and I ended the relationship. Yeah it can work. If you want it to.

@SW-User I feel sorry for you. Best thing about me is can love immensely even from far away. :)

@SW-User Don't feel sorry for me. My ex husband cheated too.
Hey it happens sometimes. Hopefully not in my next relationship. But if it does, I will end it too.

@SW-User I see. Cheating is a very bad thing.
I really hope you meet someone who can really really love you. 😊
I met my wife in an online chat room; we didn't physically meet for 6 months. There's a lot to be said for relationships where all you can initially do is talk!
It has its risks of a partner being unfaithful of course. It can get terribly lonely in between visits. But with real love, patience, loyalty and honesty most of all excellent communication it can succeed to end of distance. My fiancé and I move in together this May and I couldn’t be happier.[image deleted]
