Why does some people refuse to believe in science and deny global warming?

Because if we're truthful the answer is that [b]today [/b]we need to turn off the internet, the air con, the tvs, the games consoles etc. Stop driving our cars and flying in planes and stop shipping millions of tons of stuff around the oceans. In short we need to stop living how we've all become accustomed to living and that is something many just don't want to face up to.

A matter of choice I suppose. Some people (not me personally) think it's weather modification as scientist have been messing for decades in that field. Others think it's just the natural cycle of the Earth and that we are caught in that current cycle. Others believe it's our own mess. But , whatever the reason the government's have pounced on it to make money in carbon taxes as we all know money can save us from this 😃😃

Because we cannot be sure that the 'science' is completely impartial and free from political/financial taint.

well im sure greenhouse gases have some sort of impact on things however one must ask themselves what kind of gas guzzlers the dinosaurs must have been driving to have had [u]NO polar ice caps in prehistoric times[/u]. lol

we heat up and cool down naturally, shouldn't try and tax people for it, thats dishonest, just ban oil and other hydro carbon fuels and reveal the free energy tech they have been hiding, then no one has to pay anything and the environment is saved.

also, cows release greenhouse gases almost as much as cars so kill and eat more of them :D

I honestly don’t know where I stand on this. I do know that repeating something does not constitute proof. I would be extremely glad to have a number of things proven to my satisfaction, and I constantly look for that proof.

I don't think its that they don't believe that the earth is getting warmer, they don't believe humans or industry are to blame and that it's a natural cycle..
